GIVE ME BLOOD

Give Me Blood is a band from Calicut built on intensity, sound, and intent. The name comes from a historic line by Subhash Chandra Bose — “Give me blood, and I will give you freedom.” The band took the first half of that sentence and turned it into an identity that reflects urgency, sacrifice, and raw expression.

Musically, Give Me Blood moves between nu-metal, alternative rock, and rap rock. Their sound blends heavy riffs with hip-hop influence, rap that doesn’t rely on traditional hip-hop structure, and alternative vocals that shift between melody and aggression. Each element exists on its own, but together they create a sound that feels layered, confrontational, and honest.

This isn’t genre for the sake of labels. It’s structure through contrast — rap against distortion, melody against noise — shaped by the underground scene they come from. Give Me Blood represents a new generation of bands from Calicut that aren’t trying to fit in, but instead build their sound from whatever feels real.
